Health Hack: Boost Your Immunity This Fall

This antioxidant helps protect cells from damage and supports the production of white blood cells, which are essential for fighting infections. Foods rich in Vitamin C include citrus fruits (oranges, grapefruits, lemons), bell peppers, strawberries, kiwi, and broccoli.

  • Zinc 🦪

Zinc is involved in various immune functions, including cell growth and development, and helps regulate the immune response. You can get zinc from oysters, red meat, poultry, beans, nuts, and whole grains.

  • Probiotics 🍜

These beneficial bacteria support a healthy gut microbiome, which plays a crucial role in immune function. Examples of probiotics include yogurt, kefir, fermented vegetables (like sauerkraut and kimchi), and kombucha.
